INFP Career Matches – Our Free Career Test Is More Accurate Than MBTI – 10 Reasons Why
by
Best-Matt
Aptitude tests are used to determine what is the best job for an individual. These assessments use motivation, skills, aptitude, and preferences to match people with jobs that are best suited for them. If you’re insecure about the path you should take, taking an aptitude assessment is a great way to provide clarity on what are the best possible jobs for you.
My aptitude assessment is the best test out there and more accurate than the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator). In addition, my assessment provides accurate INFP (introversion, intuition, feeling, perception) Career Matches. Here are the ten best reasons you should take my test over the MBTI.
1. Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Is Inconsistent
A great indicator of accuracy is consistency. For example, if multiple doctors all diagnose a patient with cancer, most likely that patient has cancer. On the other hand, if multiple doctors come up with different results for the same patient, that means the results can’t be trusted.
When you take the MBTI test multiple times, you will most likely get a different result every time. According to research, 75% of MBTI test takers have reported getting different results after taking the assessment more than once.
That means one day the results could align with INFP Career Matches and the next day it can say you are suited for an EITP(extraverted, intuitive, thinking, perceiving) job type. Overall, my aptitude test is way more consistent and reliable than the MBTI.

2. Aptitude Test Provides Valid INFP Career Matches
The results of MBTI actually don’t mean anything in reality. Research suggests that certain personality types are attracted to certain occupations, but there is no evidence that proves that personality types effects job performances.
My aptitude test is based on your skills and interests, which means you will have accurate results for your personality type including INFP Career Matches. Researchers haven’t discovered a strong correlation between job effectiveness and personality types, so MBTI gives invalid results.
3. Myers-Briggs Types Indicator Overlooks Important Aspects
MBTI overlooks some important aspects of personality. First, MBTI doesn’t take into account emotional stability. A person’s emotional stability is measured by their ability to stay even-keeled during pressure situations. Some occupations carry more pressure than others.
For example, a person seeking INFP Career Matches would not be compatible with a judge or police job. Jobs in the education, arts, counseling, and business sector will be identified as the best INFP Career Matches because this personality type typically likes to think freely and be creative.
High-pressure jobs with stringent rules are not great INFP Career Matches. Second, the way MBTI measures introversion and extroversion is incomplete. Introverts get satisfaction from being alone or being in a calm environment, while extroverts are most happy when they’re around other people.
It is very rare for a person to be fully introverted or fully extroverted. Most people have both extroverted and introverted tendencies. The MBTI categorizes people as either extroverted or introverted with no middle ground. That is a noticeable flaw in this particular method of testing.
My aptitude test does what the MBTI fails to do, which is to determine who has the competency and innate ability to do certain types of occupations. Wikipedia gives a detailed explanation of the significance of aptitude.

4. Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Is Unproven
The MBTI has based on theories found in “Psychology Types”, which is a 1921 book written by Carl Jung. This book contained several unproven theories regarding the human brain. Jung hypothesized that individuals are either perceivers or judges.
People who like intuiting and sensing fall under the perceiver category, while people who are thinkers or feelers fall under the judge category. In 1942, Katherine Briggs and Isabel Briggs Myers implemented these concepts into the MBTI, but under different names. The problem is there’s no evidence to back up humans being strictly perceivers or judges.
The average person is a mixture of various personality traits, which means MBTI is based solely on unproven data. Also, pigeonholing people into one specific category on the personality spectrum is why the test results remain so inconsistent. In comparison, my aptitude test is built around facts and proven results.
5. Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Publisher Admitted Its Ineffectiveness
The publisher for MBTI wrote in the guidelines that it isn’t “ethical” to use this test for hiring or picking a job assignment. This proves that even the distributors of this test know it’s invalid because it isn’t indicative of job performance. For instance, the MBTI won’t provide you with accurate INFP Career Matches as my test does.
According to the EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission), the hiring process needs to be based on valid evidence that is related to the job description. The MBTI lacks validity, so employers do not take it seriously.
My aptitude test carries way more validity because it is actually indicative of job performance, which makes it an ideal tool for employers. Figuring out your preferences and skills is the most essential part of finding the most fulfilling occupation, so my assessment is set up in a way to answer the important questions regarding your interests and passions.

6. INFP Career Matches – Aptitude Test Can Help You To Advance
Taking my aptitude test can not only help you find an occupation, but it can also help you advance in your current job. An aptitude assessment can highlight your strengths in the workplace.
If you learn that you have the ability to lead, you could use that as motivation to pursue a managerial role within your company. The MBTI can’t give you the same confidence or incentive to push forward.
7. Aptitude Test Will Increase Your Income
Enjoying your job can increase your profit potential because you will put more effort into it, so taking an aptitude test can match you with the perfect occupation for your interests. Caring about the job you do makes a big difference in your level of success.
If you’re just going through the motions, it is going to be very hard to be effective at your job. The MTBI is not a reliable indicator of what job will make you the happiest, but my test was designed to answer the question of what will make you happy.
8. INFP Career Matches – Aptitude Test Is Great For Beginners
If you’re just entering the job market, taking an aptitude test is a great way to start your journey. My aptitude test will set you on the right path and guide you to an occupation that fits your particular set of skills perfectly. On the other hand, the MBTI is not a credible tool for those just starting out in the job market because it doesn’t give accurate results regarding what occupation is best for you.
At the end of the day, your job should be doing something you love to do and my assessment gives you the quickest route to your desired destination. Furthermore, CNN did an informative article of why career tests can potentially jumpstart your dream job.
9. My Aptitude Test Can Help You To Switch Jobs
If you already have a job, but you are unhappy there. It is time for a change and my aptitude test can assist you with that change. Taking my assessment can help you switch to a more satisfying job by identifying your interests and skillset.
The MBTI is not a great indicator of interest or skillset, so it shouldn’t be a tool used to determine a job change. Overall, it can be hard to transition from one job to another, but my aptitude test will make your move less stressful because you will be confident in your choice.

10. INFP Career Matches – My Aptitude Test Is Great For College Students
If you are just starting college and don’t know what your major will be, taking my aptitude assessment could offer some clarity on what path you should take. In addition, taking an aptitude test before you start college is also a smart option.
You can use this information to decide what classes you take. In the long run, this will save you from wasting thousands of dollars on taking classes you don’t need. Planning out your education and career path by utilizing my aptitude test is the most effective way to maximize your time in college.
The same can not be said for the MBTI. This personality test can potentially gauge your interests but doesn’t have the validity to be the sole factor of a life-altering decision. The average person wants their job to be something they love doing. No one wants to work in an occupation where they are miserable.
Being an employee at a place you hate not only can affect your job performances, but your health can also be at risk. Unsatisfactory work conditions can lead can negatively affect both your mental and physical health.
First, working a stressful job can lead to depression. Second, working a job you like can cause weight gain because stress drains your energy and it will stop you from exercising on a regular basis.
Also, stress can cause you to eat more than you usually do. And third, dissatisfaction at work can weaken your immune system and increase your chances of getting life-threatening illnesses like heart disease.
